Zimbabwe Destinations
Zimbabwe’s National Parks truly have something for everyone, whether you crave solitude in a remote wilderness setting, a fast-paced action-packed adventure, or a bit of both! Zimbabwe is home to the spectacular Victoria Falls, or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the smoke that thunders) as they are known to the locals. The Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and one of the largest and most impressive waterfalls on the planet…you simply have to see it for yourself. By all means come for the Falls, but be sure to stay for the wonderful wildlife. Zimbabwe has some excellent game-viewing areas you should not miss, starting with Mana Pools National Park on the edge of the Zambezi River. Hwange is great for Elephant viewing while Matopo Hills is the place to head for if you want to see Rhino. For something completely different, consider a game watching holiday from the comfort of a houseboat on Lake Kariba.
