Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
We will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after picking you up in Arusha. Following your arrival, you make your way down into the crater for an amazing game drive inside the UNESCO World Heritage Site, complete with a picnic lunch. With its 2000-foot-high walls preventing most creatures from migrating in and out, the Ngorongoro Crater contains the largest number of wild animals in the world. The species include jackals, antelopes, rhinos, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and other birds. The “Big Five” could be seen in a single day. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Rim Tour
Following breakfast at the lodge, you go on a nature walk around the Northern Crater Rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to a variety of wildlife including buffalo, elephants, baboons, monkeys, and birds. Through deep wilderness, you follow animal routes escorted by a ranger or Maasai guide. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Ngorongoro Farmhouse. All meals included.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Arusha
You will visit a Masai village after breakfast to witness the customs of the most well-known tribe in East Africa. prior to your early afternoon return to Arusha. Lunchbox and breakfast provided.
