The Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti is an amazing show and a one of a kind wildlife event. 1,5 million wildebeests moves around in search for nutritious grass and fresh water. They are accompanied by large numbers of zebras, various species of gazelles and ever hungry predator cats luring in the grass. We know a lot about the wildebeest migration since it is fairly examined but despite this it is hard to foresee the exact movements of the Wildebeest migration since Mother Nature decides when to drop the rain. Our Wildebeest Migration itineraries will follow and be adjusted to the migration assuring to come as close as possible to the animals. We are sure you will have a great safari experience.
Day 01: Arusha-Ngorongoro
Depart Arusha in the morning for your drive through the Maasai Steppe and along the Rift Valley to Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. After arrival you descend to the Crater floor for a wonderful game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is often described as one of the wonders of the world and has been declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site .It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species.
