8 Days Tanzania Zebra Safari

This Camping Safari Tarangire/ Lake Manyara/Serengeti/ Ngorongoro  will show you four National Parks that each one has its own special atmosphere and wildlife. With only canvas between you and the night you will hear, feel and smell the seducive Tanzanian nature.

Day 1: Lake Manyara

Traveling to Lake Manyara is the first stop on your safari. Remarkably beautiful, the park is tucked away at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Numerous game animals, including buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippopotamuses, and others, are visible. Spend the night at a Lake Manyara public campground. Dinner and a lunchbox are provided.

Day 2: Lake Manyara-Serengeti

Following breakfast, you depart for Serengeti National Park. You will proceed deeper into the park and go on a game drive after stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in the Serengeti. Spend the evening at the Central Serengeti’s Seronera Public Campsite. All meals are provided.

Day 3 &4: Serengeti

Two days spent on game drives through the Serengeti. You may see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and numerous birds and other species, depending on the season and the herds’ migration. At the Central Serengeti, spend two nights at the Seronera Public Campsite. All meals are provided.

Day 5: Serengeti -Ngorongoro

Serengeti game drive in the early morning. Following breakfast, we’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and, weather permitting, take a nature walk in the afternoon at the Northern Crater Rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, which is home to a variety of wildlife species, including buffaloes, elephants, baboons, monkeys, and birds. Through dense bush, you follow animal paths escorted by a ranger or Maasai guide. Spend the night at Ngorongoro’s Simba Public Campsite. Every meal is served.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

Following breakfast, you will make your way down into the crater for an amazing game drive inside the UNESCO-designated Ngorongoro Crater, complete with a picnic lunch. With its 2000-foot-high walls, the Ngorongoro Crater has the highest wild animal density in the world because very few animals migrate in and out of it. The species include jackals, antelopes, rhinos, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and numerous birds. The “Big Five” might be seen in a single day. Spend the night at Ngorongoro’s Simba Public Campsite. Every meal is served.

Day 7: Tarangire

Drive time for the next leg of your tour is spent traveling to Tarangire, Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park and home to an exceptionally large population of elephants. Giant baobab trees, which dwarf the animals that graze beneath them, are an intriguing feature of the park. As the area’s only reliable source of water, the Tarangire River draws a concentration of animals. A great diversity of animals can be found, including up to 6,000 elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Stay the night at Tarangire at a public campground. Included are all meals.

Day 8: Tarangire – Arusha

After last early morning game drive you return to Arusha with arrival early afternoon where your Camping Safari Tarangire / Lake Manyara / Ngorongoro / Serengeti ends. Breakfast and lunchbox included.
