Safari Packing List

INFORMATION ABOUT PACKING LIST

Indicative packing list that touches many needs, but remember it is YOU who knows yourself best.

Find out about the climatic conditions that apply, Africa may not be as hot as you think. There is often a large variation between day and night temperatures. Normally, the temperature on safari is from 18 to 30 degrees. Around the equator, the temperature is 18 to 35 degrees.

Loose and bright clothes are good to wear on safari. The most important thing is not to follow the recommendations slavishly, but use these and other people’s advice as guidance. Use your own experiences, the equipment and the clothes you feel comfortable in. Use natural fibers as far as possible. Use approved shoes and tried-and-tested clothing and equipment.

Most hotels and lodges offer laundry for a fee.
